The last few days have been off the strenous pear bags.  Days off come randomly, they are not chosen.  Myself, Johnny, and Henno hopped into Johnny’s small white car and drove to a Mini-Golf course.  There was a sandwhich on the line so it was intense.  Whoever made that course needs to visit cape cod. It just doesn’t compare.  We took a Train into the city later on.  We met Kate and went with her to the little creatures brewery on the shoreline of freemantle.  Bocce ensued.  I brought a sandwhich in a tupperware to save money.  It was on my plate at just the right moment as the real food arrived for the other table-members.  We made jokes about someone asking the waiter to have what I was having.  Kate is acquainted with many individuals, I didn’t know anyone really and towards the end of the night I was playing tetris with cups and bottles.(I tend to make up games when I get bored at restaraunts).
We slept at Simon’s house. A nice guy.  The boyfriend of Kate who we play Frisbee with weekly.

The next day was spent watching a sport more intense than Bocce and almost as intense as mini-golf.  Aussie Rules Football.  It’s a very messy sport.  Unlike the NFL there are no pads and time doe not stop.  The rules are probably online somewhere.  It was a bushfire appeal game, The two teams (Freemantle and Western Australia) are bitter rivals.  One player was enourmous.  Freemantle won the game.  I essentially watched people beat the shit ouf of eachother for a few hours.  I wasn’t to into the dynamics of the game.  I apologize if I’m offending the AFL league, football probably seems rediculous.   Again this was occuring while all of the east coast was in mid-sleep.  So strange. I heard that New York had a snow day recently.  How is the weather as a whole this winter?
